DELETED SCENES WE WANT ON BLU-RAY 11: "THE OTHER" REVEALED...

On Dagobah, having witnessed the sad loss of Yoda to the Force, Luke's feeling of isolation are eased with the arrival of the spectral apparition of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who sits down with the young Jedi and discusses his all-important future, his destiny to battle Darth Vader once again, and the revelation that Luke has a sister.

This scene, as scripted and filmed in 1982 (and in James Khan's 1983 novelization), was much longer than what was seen in the completed movie, as Obi-Wan likely revealed that Owen Lars was his brother and more about Leia as "The Other". Not wanting too much exposition, or to be restricted by the back story, a lot of this was cut in case Lucas wanted to make the eventual Prequels. I think it's safe to say that the chances of the full footage of this scene ever being released onto any future deleted scenes Blu-rays scenes is doubtful at best...
